Studio Architecture and Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Senior Architectural Designer to join our practice and play a leading role in shaping innovative, design-driven projects across New York City. This position is ideal for a creative professional who combines strong design sensibility with technical expertise and a passion for mentorship.

• Lead design development from concept through construction documentation across mixed‑use, commercial, residential, and institutional projects.
• Translate conceptual ideas into compelling design solutions through 2D/3D modeling, visualization, and detailing.
• Direct preparation of drawings, renderings, and presentation materials.
• Mentor junior and intermediate designers, providing guidance on design strategies and technical standards.
• Participate in client meetings, presenting design intent and project vision.
• Conduct research on materials, technologies, sustainability strategies, and emerging design trends.
• Ensure compliance with NYC codes, zoning, and regulatory requirements.

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 7+ years of professional experience across all project phases.
• Strong design portfolio demonstrating conceptual and technical excellence.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Sketch Up, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Enscape, V‑Ray, or 3ds Max.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to manage deadlines and lead project teams effectively.
