Senior Architect Project Manager

IYA is in search of a dynamic Senior Architect Project Manager to join us in crafting our brand and steering our firm's future. This role is tailor-made for an individual who thrives in a small, entrepreneurial atmosphere and is ready to embrace all facets of the role with self-reliance.

New employees will undergo training focused on alteration review tasks. The majority of their early responsibilities will involve conducting alteration reviews for co-ops and condos.

• End-to-End Project Ownership: Independently handle all architectural project aspects, from initial client engagement to project fruition.
• Collaborative Design: Work closely with design teams to forge innovative and pragmatic solutions for residential buildings, co-ops, and condos.
• Review and Revival: Lead the charge in evaluating and rejuvenating residential buildings and their spaces, ensuring strict adherence to NYC codes and regulations.
• AutoCAD Expertise: Leverage AutoCAD for creating and scrutinizing architectural plans and drawings.
• Brand Cultivation: Contribute to the nurturing and expansion of Irving Yee Architecture's presence in the NYC architectural community.
• Knowledge and Adherence: Stay updated on NYC codes, regulations, knowledge of local law 11 is a plus.

• 7-10 years of architectural experience.
• Bachelor of Architecture (B. Arch) degree.
• Previous knowledge in review work is a plus
  • Primary Starting role will be centered around review work
• Proficiency in CO-OP or condo design.
• In-depth knowledge of NYC building codes and regulations.
• Self-driven and adept at working autonomously.
• CAD proficiency is a valuable asset.
