The Design Assistant is responsible for assisting the Senior Designer with the execution of all ATM Apparel Design. This position supports the Wholesale and Retail business. The responsibilities described below are considered essential functions of the role. This position is based in our NYC office and requires working on‑site.

• Creative Design - be able to put together trend boards based on trend research
• Design product from quality, pattern, color
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines with support and resources as needed
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

• Organizational Skills - needs to be able to keep track of samples in excel sheets across multiple seasons at the same time
• Communication Skills - this role requires direct communication with the factories and internally with sales
• Presentation Skills - be able to present product in meetings

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field
• Minimum of 1 year in related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent interpersonal, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $24.00 - $26.00. Ranges are based on various factors such as relevant skillset, training, years of experience related to the current job description, education, and our organizational structure.
