Intermediate Architect

Job Overview

We are seeking Architectural graduate candidates with minimum four (4) of six (6) years NYC experience. You will have significant responsibility as both Project Architect and Designer on a wide variety of projects, including new buildings. You should have strong ACAD + 3D software skills with strong design and technical skills and good graphic sense and be a quick learner who can work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

• Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Structural Engineering.
• At least six (6) years of experience in a mid-size to large A&E firm.
• Deep experience with NYC projects, building code and zoning analysis.
• Full proficiency in Auto-CAD 2015.
• Ability to create CD sets, including façade detailing.
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power point); MS Project is a plus.
• 3D modeling and rendering experience. (Sketch Up, Rhino)
• Organized and methodical presentation and communication skills, verbal and written.
• Experience on both ground up and adaptive re-use of existing buildings, and coordination with MEP and structural engineers.
• Ability to create design presentation renderings for a variety of commercial projects, including retail and multi-residential projects.
