Designer / Senior Designer

Focus: SKETCH/DRAPE/CONCEPT

Salary: $110,000-$130,000

• Support design team in development of seasonal collections and custom/VIP development
• Create original hand sketches and drapes based on seasonal concept/direction from Creative Director
• Communicate effectively with in-house Atelier for accurate execution of concepts
• Create clear and detailed rendered sketches for custom client presentations that accurately illustrate concepts
• Manage VIP/custom projects from initial presentation to garment completion/hand off
• Continuous ideation and execution of new technique/drape development
• Continuous research for mood and concept pulls for technique and silhouette
• Build and maintain organized design presentation boards for review meetings
• Assist in fittings, photoshoots, material prep and post-fitting organization
• Act as a brand champion, ensuring all designs are consistent with the brand’s vision and aesthetic

• Bachelor degree in Fashion Design with 6-10+ years of Design experience with high-end/luxury brands
• Elevated taste level
• Excellent knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and manufacturing process
• Strong understanding of luxury materials, finishing techniques, embellishments, and trims
• Proficiency in hand sketching
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator a must
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from ideation through production, with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability share information effectively, and work confidently with cross functional teams
• Creative problem solver with ability to think outside the box
• Willingness and flexibility to adapt in order to meet project requirements and deadlines
• Team player with a positive attitude
