Senior Designer – Design Team

NY based firm specializing in high-rise luxury residential buildings seeking a Senior Designer. We are seeking a candidate with 7+ years of experience, NYC high end residential design, mixed use buildings and commercial projects. Candidate must have extensive experience in mixed use projects and designing of facade systems.

• Architectural degree from an accredited program.
• 7 years of relevant architectural experience on residential projects.
• New York high rise residential experience.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Auto Cad, REVIT and Adobe Suite is required.
• Advanced digital modeling & rendering skills are required and must be fluent in working with 3D Studio Max and/or Rhino.
• Candidate is a self-starter being able to initiate and generate design concepts of complex mixed use residential projects and must be able to see design of projects from concept through design development to construction documents.
• Candidate must demonstrate that they possess a highly creative process and creative critical thinking through their portfolio, sensitive to not only aesthetics but also to the assembly of buildings, programming and planning, massing and the graphic communication / presentation of their ideas.
• The successful candidate will assist in generating design concepts of various projects and will be required to develop design ideas with the supervision of the Department Design Director. Produce presentations to communicate with the client group and coordinate with the broader design team.
• The successful candidate will play a critical role in the team and will provide guidance and leadership to the junior architects within the team.

Salary Range: $90,. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
