Senior Technical Project Architect QA/ QC
This leading Manhattan-based architecture and design firm is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Technical Project Architect to join their team. Our client, a leading architecture and design firm in Manhattan, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Technical Project Architect to join their team. This Senior role offers the opportunity to influence iconic projects, mentor designers, and grow expertise in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
Responsibilities- Lead the coordination and integration of architectural and consultant construction documents, including redlines, detail review, QA/QC, and consultant management.
- Develop technical details for systems and assemblies and ensure constructibility within budget and schedule.
- Translate design concepts and information into images and comprehensive construction documentation.
- Generate design solutions that balance creativity, functionality, and technical performance.
- Contribute to project scheduling, deliverable tracking, and client presentations.
- Mentor and guide project team members, leveraging strengths to maximize performance.
- Work proactively to align project, design, and technical objectives in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Maintain knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, codes, products, and best practices.
- Manage client relationships and represent the firm in presentations and meetings.
- Degree from a NAAB-accredited architecture program (or equivalent).
- 15+ years of experience in commercial architecture; experience with large-scale, complex project types strongly preferred.
- Professional registration (Architect’s license) highly desired.
- Proficiency in Revit and thorough understanding of construction documentation.
- Deep knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and accessibility codes.
- Proven track record of coordinating complex consultant teams and managing deliverables.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding project teams, mentoring junior staff, and managing client relations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Flexible, collaborative, and proactive approach to problem-solving.
