Periodontist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Periodontist join our growing multi-specialty Dental office in lower Manhattan (Chinatown) area. Candidate must be friendly, motivated, and hard-working individual. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in Periodontics and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality dental care. This role involves diagnosing and treating patients with complex gum and dental issues. The Periodontist will work collaboratively with a team of dental professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Perform comprehensive examinations and assessments of patients' oral health.
• Develop treatment plans that address patients' needs, including scaling and root planning, gum grafts, gum surgeries, bone grafting, surgical extractions including wisdom teeth, sinus lifts (lateral and vertical techniques), and place implants.
• Must be able to place implants, bone grafting, and sinus lifts.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document treatment plans using dental software Dentrix.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices.

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a residency program in Periodontics is required.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems Dentrix.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures to patients clearly.
• A commitment to providing compassionate patient care in a clinical setting.
• Able to Speak Chinese is a plus.

Compensation based on experience.
