Dental Assistant at Smile New York Outreach
Join our mobile dental practice, visiting kids in schools across Manhattan, Bronx, and neighboring areas. Work a school day schedule (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM), no nights or weekends. Ideal for those who want a work‑life balance and a chance to make a difference.

Qualifications- Dental Assistant Certification (preferred, but not required)
- CPR certification card
- Experience as a Dental Assistant
- Experience with Digital X‑rays
- Patient charting (paper forms, charting tooth surfaces)
- Valid willingness to travel to schools within the boroughs
- Works well with children
- Team player able to work on a small team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Assist during mobile dental clinic visits
- Take Digital X‑ray images
- Chart patient records
- Set up, break down and assist with sterilization of equipment
- Travel daily to and from school sites
- Evenings, weekends and summer off
- School day schedule (about 6–7 hours, typically 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- Health, dental, and vision benefits

- Full‑time and part‑time positions available
- Salary: $17.50 – $25 per hour
- State‑of‑the‑art portable dental equipment
