Role: Certified Dental Assistant

Job Location: Bronx, NY

Pay Range: $35/ Hr - $38/ Hr

Duties:
  • Provides patient education.
  • Takes medical histories and vital signs.
  • Places and removes rubber dams, matrix bands, and temporary separating devices.
  • Places orthodontic ligatures.
  • Selects and pre-fits provisional crowns and orthodontic bands.
  • Removes orthodontic arch wires and ligature ties.
  • Applies temporary cement.
  • Takes impressions for casts.
  • Applies topical anticariogenic/desensitizing agents to teeth.
    • Skills:

    1 year experience.

    Education:

    Valid certification to practice as a Dental Assistant issued by NYSED. Primary Source Verification required.

    Languages:

    English - Read/ Write/ Speak
