Position: Dental Receptionist at New York Family Dentistry Brooklyn, NY
Location: New York

Competitive Pay:
Hourly rates start at $25/hr , with higher compensation available for candidates with extensive experience!

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage patient scheduling across multiple locations, ensuring provider efficiency and patient satisfaction using Dentrix Ascend, Open Dental or similar software.

  • Lead front office operations
    , streamlining patient check‑in/check‑out, documentation accuracy, and workflow coordination.

  • Be the primary point of contact for patient inquiries, providing clear and compassionate communication regarding treatments, financial policies, and appointment logistics.

  • Maintain meticulous patient records
    , ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

  • Coordinate with providers, treatment coordinators, and dental assistants to ensure smooth patient flow and high‑quality care.

  • Train and mentor junior receptionists and administrative staff
    , fostering a culture of professionalism and exceptional service.

  • Optimize scheduling strategies to maximize provider productivity while keeping wait times minimal.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in dental reception, front office administration, or a similar senior role.

  • Proficient in dental office software (Dentrix Ascend, Eaglesoft, Open Dental).

  • Strong leadership skills
    , with the ability to train, mentor, and oversee front office staff.

  • Exceptional problem‑solving abilities to handle high‑volume, fast‑paced environments confidently.
