Responsibilities- Performs sterilization procedures following protocols set in accordance with established guidelines
- Prepares dental equipment and instrumentation - tray set-ups for dental procedures
- Obtains diagnostic records ordered by a dentist including X-Rays, intra-oral scans/photos, and alginate impressions
- Provides direct patient care under the direct supervision of a dentist
- Creates entries in patients' medical records as directed by the treating dentist
- Provides patient education including care instructions
- Performs basic lab duties including the fabrication of Essix retainers
- Prepares and documents lab cases ensuring timely delivery
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a dental or healthcare setting.
- Knowledge and understanding of dental terminology, techniques, and procedures.
- Registered Dental Assistant in the state of New Jersey.
- Compliance with continuing education requirements to maintain state license/certification (if applicable).
- Proficiency in dental software and technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Job Type: Full-time
- Compensation: Pay range starting at $20.00 an hour; final offer will be determined by experience and qualifications.
- Location: In-person; local travel between offices may be required.
- Work Hours: Monday-Thursday (8:30 am - 6 pm or 9:30 am - 7 pm), Friday (8:30 am - 5 pm), Saturday (8:30 am - 4 pm)
