Location: West Henrietta

Join the Leasing Team Member role at Cardinal Group Companies. This full‑time, non‑exempt position focuses on securing new residents, retaining existing tenants, and supporting community events to maintain 100% occupancy.

Compensation

NY salary range: $17,000 – $19,000 plus bonus potential. Eligible for company benefits including health, vision, dental, pet insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, student loan assistance, licensing and continuing education reimbursement, parental leave, and housing allowances or.

Responsibilities
  • Act as an ambassador for customer service, consistently going above and beyond to ensure Cardinal customers are satisfied.
  • Utilize the Cardinal Way of Leasing:
    • Warmly greet prospective clients.
    • Answer incoming leasing calls.
    • Determine needs and preferences.
    • Professionally present the community and apartment homes.
    • Utilize feature/benefit selling.
    • Close the sale.
    • Follow up.
  • Complete all lease applications and lease file paperwork.
  • Maintain accurate lease file documentation in accordance with company policy; participate in audit assignments.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tour paths to ensure a positive first impression.
  • Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude with team members, residents, prospective residents, and.
  • Participate in and assist with planning community events.
  • Assist with various additional community projects as assigned.
  • Participate in Cardinal U training as required.
Qualifications
  • 1‑2 years of customer service and sales experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High energy and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Passion for providing excellent service.
  • People‑oriented: warm, friendly, and helpful in person and on the phone.
  • Basic computer skills: typing, writing, and correspondence.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Available evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and core values daily.
Preferred Experience
  • Leasing Agent or Leasing Consultant
  • Real Estate or Leasing background
  • Receptionist or Leasing Specialist roles
