Job Description

Area Customer Service Coordinator

Responsibilities
  • Support daily operations for all contracted services at customer accounts within a geographical area.
  • Assist management with process improvement, procedural testing, validation, and ensuring field compliance.
  • Support Field Implementation Managers with implementation of new customer accounts and service expansions.
  • Assist with onboarding new team members and cross‑training peers.
  • Assist with development and sharing of Site Procedure Guides and best practices.
  • Routinely inspect Site Procedure Guides for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of all contracted services within assigned accounts.
  • Perform daily visual inspection of site services and ensure Ricoh and customer compliance with safety.
  • Provide feedback on site experience via survey tools or other forms to improve customer experience.
  • Stand in for absences or vacations of onsite resources, potentially including site management.
  • Execute, support, and travel to various accounts for all aspects of services.
  • Create and maintain a customer‑focused environment.
  • Engage end‑user feedback to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Escalate customer issues to ESM/AOM and support resolution to completion.
  • Communicate effectively and respond quickly to customer and end‑user communication.
  • Collect data and use tools/methods for Monthly Operations Review.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma plus 12 months of related work experience; post‑high‑school education encouraged and preferred.
  • Ability to relocate within one day if required; cover accounts up to 40‑50 miles.
  • Valid, violation‑free driver’s license with reliable transportation and required insurance coverage.
  • Intermediate skill level in common software applications (file/folder management, network navigation).
  • Accurate monthly expense submission following proper coding requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Team‑oriented, maintaining positive relationships with coworkers.
  • Adaptability to changing situations, flexibility, high motivation, sense of urgency.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Sound judgment and problem‑solving ability.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks maintaining quality and output standards.
  • Commitment to task and persistence in specific courses of action.
  • Excellent oral communication.
  • Working knowledge of account services for job scheduling.
  • Comprehension of written and verbal instructions from customers.
  • Customer‑related issue resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and computers.
  • Ready to report to alternate sites as needed.
  • Typical office/warehouse environment with adequate lighting, ventilation, temperature, and noise.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
  • Office or warehouse environment with adequate lighting, ventilation, temperature, and noise.
  • Diverse work assignments requiring interpretation and application of complex material.
  • Preparation, provision, and conveyance of diverse information.
  • Exposure to minor cuts and other workplace hazards.
  • Physical effort including long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lb; may involve moving machinery up to 400 lb.
  • Moderate dexterity and basic skills (calculator, keyboard, hand tools, eye/hand coordination).
  • Close vision required.
  • Frequent local car travel.
  • Regular hours 8 a.m.‑5 p.m., Monday‑Friday, with schedule flexibility for early openings or late closings and weekends.
