Overview
Akkodis is seeking a Call Center Customer Service for a Contract job with a client in New York, NY(Remote). The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, tech-savvy environments and communicates with clarity and empathy. They’ll proactively manage orders, resolve customer issues, and contribute insights to improve team processes.
Rate Range: $16/hour to $20/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
- Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner
- Resolving product or service issues with empathy, accuracy, and urgency
- Documenting customer interactions and updating account information in internal systems
- Following communication scripts and standard procedures while offering personalized solutions
- Collaborating with team members and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service or call center environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proven ability to handle high call volumes with professionalism and efficiency
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly under pressure
- Comfortable using CRM systems, call center software, and digital communication tools
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
