The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Front Desk Agent, you’ll handle transactions, offer local insights, anticipate every detail of a friction‑free experience, and create a warm atmosphere that makes guests feel at home in any location.

• Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience.
• Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone.
• Take and manage guest bookings, upsell opportunities, and share ways to improve their stay.
• Handle cash and credit transactions.
• Check guests in and out quickly: collect IDs, hand out room keys, control and release safety deposit boxes.
• Record and act on guest preferences; handle messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
• Act as a trusted contact for all guests, helping with bill issues, local knowledge, and involving management when necessary.
• Follow safety procedures, report incidents, and wear required protective gear.
• Maintain appearance and professionalism as a brand ambassador.
• Know events and activities scheduled for the day.
• Assist with ad‑hoc duties when colleagues need help.

• Availability for a 7‑day schedule, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Strong communication skills to handle guest concerns and compliments.
• Problem‑solving skills to convert issues into positive experiences.
• Fluency in the local language; additional languages are a plus.
• Literacy and tech savviness: reading, writing, basic math, and computers.
• Flexibility for night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college/university degree is a bonus.
• At least one year of front desk or guest service experience.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg), including bending and kneeling.

The hourly rate for this role is $16.00 to $21.81.
