Position: GUEST SERVICES AGENT (PART TIME)

Location:

1 Battery Park Plaza, New York, NY 10004 (Online applications only).

Schedule:

Part‑time, Tuesday and Thursday 10:30 AM – 8:00 PM (details upon interview).

Pay Rate: $21.00 – $22.00 per hour.

Requirements:
Previous experience in guest services required.

Internal Employee Referral Bonus available.

Job Summary

Checks guests in and/or out of the hotel. Resolves guest challenges throughout their stay. Promotes hotel services, amenities and upsells products to the guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complete the registration/check‑in process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system.
  • Ensure rooms and services are correctly accounted for within guest statements.
  • Assist guests with check‑out payments or charges, accepting and recording vouchers, credit, traveler's checks and other forms of payment.
  • Balance and drop receipts according to accounting specifications.
  • Provide guests with information about the facility, services and amenities.
  • Receive special requests from guests and respond appropriately or forward to appropriate team members.
  • Promptly answer telephone and email inquiries. Retrieve and forward messages to/from guests. Retrieve mail, packages and fax or other special items as requested.
  • Field and resolve guest complaints or escalates for resolution to appropriate department.
  • Assist guests in emergency situations.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and functional equipment at the Front Desk.
  • Perform any special assignments as directed by the GM, Guest Services Manager, or Manager on Duty.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
