Parking Attendant

Overview of Position

A Parking Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all areas of our parking facility are run properly with the safety of our employees and guests as the primary concern. As the first point of contact for our guests as they arrive at Windham Mountain Club, parking attendants have a high degree of guest contact and must leave our guests with an exceptional first impression.

• Maintain the efficient operation and control of the parking lot.
• Efficiently direct the parking of all types of vehicles to maximize capacity use of parking areas.
• Report any vehicle damage immediately to a supervisor.
• Efficiently communicate in a cheerful, knowledgeable, and professional manner with guests.
• Pick up litter in parking lots and shovel snow or ice from steps or other areas when necessary.
• Provide guests with accurate information on conditions, events, and programs.
• Identify and address potential hazards.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, adhering to dress code at all times.

• Must be alert, reliable and willing to learn.
• Must be able to complete tasks as directed thoroughly and accurately.
• Must be comfortable interacting with both guests and employees in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Must be able to handle stressful, noisy, and crowded situations.
• Must have strong verbal communication skills.

• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse winter weather conditions for extended periods.
• Ability to stand and walk on uneven terrain, including snow and ice covered surfaces.
• Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach regularly.
• Ability to climb stairs and ladders.

We are in the business of providing a premier product and guest experience. Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holiday periods which you will be expected to work. You can also expect to be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holiday periods.
