The H2

Go Supervisor oversees and directs the daily operation of the H2

Go Booth and H2

Go Operations, while also acting as a liaison between management and employees.

Supervisory Duties

• Supervise the daily operations of the Aquatics team and any other assigned departments
• Lead by example, attitude, and as a representation of Splish Splash core values
• Act as an approachable mentor and coach to all assigned team members
• Become knowledgeable of performing the essential duties of all aquatics and lifeguarding positions and backfill these positions when needed
• Participate in all aspects of supervision of assigned employees, including hiring, orientation, training, performance coaching, and discipline
• Ensure that all required meal and other breaks are being given in accordance with NY law
• Assist with team scheduling and timekeeping activities

Departmental Duties

• Coordinate and oversee staffing and operation of all H2
  
  Go Booth and H2
  
  Go operations daily
• Continuously train H2
  
  Go Cashiers and H2
  
  Go Attendants in park procedures and policies
• Notify proper management in cases of emergency
• Ensure all opening and closing procedures have been done properly for assigned facilities
• Assist guests with comments, suggestions, or complaints
• Provide knowledge of H2
  
  Go levels
• Manage ride queues and update line times
• Oversee H2
  
  Go equipment and ensure everything is in working order
• Assist in any areas that are busy and manage H2
  
  Go Booth queue
• All other duties assigned by leadership
• Pay Rate: $19 / hr.

• No education requirements for this position
• Previous work experience is not required

• Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus

• Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with NY Child Labor Laws
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Demonstrated ability to successfully perform all swim tests, water rescues, assists
• Ability to comply with all uniform policies
• Must possess safety‑oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all Federal, State, and local regulations regarding aquatics safety standards
• Ability to take control of emergency and intense situations while remaining calm
• Ability to manage crowd control during emergency situations
• Must demonstrate a willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions
• Must be guest‑focused and work well with other team members and supervisors
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to frequently kneel, stoop, bend, squat, twist or reach above shoulder‑level
• Ability to use hands to grasp, finger, handle, or feel
• Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing up to 20 pounds

• Constant exposure to outdoor aquatics environments
• Constant exposure to variable outside temperatures, including high heat, direct sun, cold, humidity, dust, rain, and other weather conditions
• Subject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activities
