Client Services Representative

North Shore Animal League America is seeking a Client Services Representative to provide excellent customer service to clients of the Pet Health Centers. The role involves acting as the first contact for clients and serving as a liaison between veterinarians and patients.

• Provide outstanding customer service through various channels including telephone, email, and virtual platforms.
• Work collaboratively to prioritize client and patient needs.
• Assess emergency calls and walk-ins, directing them appropriately.
• Schedule appointments, explain procedures, and provide accurate fee information.
• Check in patients, present hospital policies, and handle billing and payments.
• Create and manage client and patient medical records, including data entry and record requests.
• Process Care Credit and Scratchpay applications and payments.
• Maintain the front desk and waiting areas, ensuring they are organized and stocked.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

• Preferred 2+ years of customer service experience in a medical or veterinary setting.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient with computers and data entry.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly while maintaining confidentiality.
• Passion for making a positive impact on animals and their owners.
