As a Branch Ambassador, you will use your love of working with people and sharing product knowledge to play a vital role in our customers' banking experience. You will perform a wide variety of transactions including check cashing, deposits, transfers and withdrawals while monitoring fraud mitigation and adhering to established operational policies and procedures.

What we are looking for in you:

• You're friendly and engaging and can connect with customers. You’re a people person—whether you’re helping with technology challenges, having casual conversation, or demonstrating services and products we offer.
• You can help determine personal and business financial needs to reduce customer financial anxiety and connect customers with experts who can guide them to their financial destination.
• You understand the importance of compliance when working at a bank and will follow all audit and security policies and procedures in accordance with Bank policy and Federal regulations.
• You support customers in all areas of the branch, including cash handling and service needs, and rotate within the branch based on customer needs.
• The retail customer experience is improved with fewer handoffs; every Ambassador is a proficient expert.
• You are naturally curious and eager to learn. You will be trained on Capital One products, services, and experiences to help guide customers toward their financial goals.
• You are digitally savvy and can showcase how to navigate our mobile and online experiences, using branch laptops and iPads. You will educate customers on other banking channels and services.
• You are a team player who can work with an energized team of banking professionals and inspire teammates.
• You will research and answer customer inquiries to enhance retention and engagement using various tools and channels to recommend appropriate solutions.
• You can travel between branches in the assigned local area to support the market you are assigned.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience
• At least 6 months of cash handling experience

• Associate’s degree
• 2+ years of Retail, Sales, or Banking Experience

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed number of hours to be regularly worked.

• Carle Place, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador
• Cedarhurst, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador
• Great Neck, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador
• Hicksville, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador
• Levittown, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador
• Plainview, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador
• Roslyn, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador
• Valley Stream, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador
• Wantagh, NY: $51,542 - $54,600 for Branch Ambassador

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
