Brand Creative Intern- Summer Internship

Kenneth Cole is a global fashion brand that designs, markets, and distributes high-quality apparel, footwear, and accessories. We work closely with 22 domestic and 12 international licensing partners to create modern, functional, and stylish products that inspire individuals to look good and make a positive impact in the world.

We provide mentoring, education, and practical learning experiences for outstanding candidates interested in gaining insight into a fashion industry leader renowned for its unique New York style and social conscience.

The Kenneth Cole internship program runs for 10 weeks. Interns must be available to work a minimum of 3 days a week from 9AM to 6PM, though this may vary depending on department needs. The Brand Creative Intern must reside in the tri-state area and be available to commute to our NYC office on a 3-day per week basis.

• Assist in creating digital assets for the Kenneth Cole website, e-commerce campaigns, social media, and email marketing.
• Support the design and editing of product photography, retouching, and content optimization for digital channels.
• Collaborate with the Marketing, Merchandising, and E-Commerce teams to ensure brand consistency across all online platforms.
• Help develop layouts and visual storytelling for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and digital look books.
• Research and share design trends, competitive benchmarks, and best practices in digital creative for fashion retail.
• Organize and maintain creative files, mood boards, and brand style guides.
• Provide creative support for photo shoots, influencer content, and other brand activations.
• Assist with administrative tasks and special projects for the Creative and E-Commerce teams as needed.

This internship role involves mid-level physical activity, including:

• Receiving and unpacking samples
• Transporting items to and from photo shoots, partner showrooms, and the internal sample closet during seasonal flips

At Kenneth Cole Productions, interns receive an hourly rate of $17/hr
. Candidates can be freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors enrolled in an accredited college with a history of strong academic achievement. In addition, interns have the opportunity to participate in exciting events including educational workshops, community involvement, and a kick-off meeting with our founder, Kenneth Cole.
