Assistant Digital Editor - Hadassah Magazine

To provide editorial content for Hadassah Magazine’s editorial team and support its digital publications and programs.

• Develop original digital content, including original stories, videos and social media posts
• Assist digital editor in maintaining and posting to Hadassah Magazine’s website
• Provide backup to digital editor for social media outreach
• Coordinate and communicate with magazine event/podcast guests
• Work with freelance writers to coordinate contracts and billing information
• Other duties as required

• Bachelor's degree, with journalism degree or focus a plus
• 2-3 years professional experience in a related field, with website and social media experience a must.
• Proficiency in working on Website CMS
• Proficiency using and developing audience engagement on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and You Tube
• Experience creating and editing video/reels for social media

• Strong writing and editing skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-starter who is quick, efficient and capable of meeting tight deadlines
• Highly motivated and team-oriented
• Knowledge of Jewish landscape a plus
