The Photo Researcher Intern will have the opportunity to help the Photo Editor locate images for current book projects.
- Gathering comprehensive photo research
- Maintaining a clear and organized archive for each book
- Clearing rights and permissions for all images
- Clearing rights with artists and models, as necessary
- Acquiring and managing high-resolution files
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- Previous photo research internship experience preferred
- Strong visual, communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Attention to schedules and deadlines
- Experience in utilizing Excel and the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign)
- Familiarity with fine arts and artists, photographers, and subjects pertaining to Assouline’ s publishing list
- Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Must have knowledge in subjects ranging from fashion, design, and art; to travel and lifestyle
