Photo Researcher Intern

The Photo Researcher Intern will have the opportunity to help the Photo Editor locate images for current book projects.

• Gathering comprehensive photo research
• Maintaining a clear and organized archive for each book
• Clearing rights and permissions for all images
• Clearing rights with artists and models, as necessary
• Acquiring and managing high-resolution files

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
• Previous photo research internship experience preferred
• Strong visual, communication and organizational skills
• Able to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Attention to schedules and deadlines
• Experience in utilizing Excel and the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign)
• Familiarity with fine arts and artists, photographers, and subjects pertaining to Assouline’ s publishing list
• Able to multi-task and work well under pressure
• Must have knowledge in subjects ranging from fashion, design, and art; to travel and lifestyle
