Job DescriptionBrand Designer with 3+ years of experience in brand design and social media design (especially client), creating templates, carousels, and campaign content and designing internal decks and event visuals.
On client’s @design, we share stories about design through the eyes of creators who are shaping creative expression, utilizing client’s tools to enhance our followers’ everyday creativity and showcasing how design can inspire and connect people. The team is a nimble crew of creative producers and communications designers crafting stories for external audiences on Instagram and Threads.
Design StudioThe client Design Studio are stewards of the Instagram brand. We bring the brand to life in our product, including presentation design, swag, and visual identity for key internal moments.
Responsibilities (Public-Facing)- @design (Public-Facing) 6-8hrs / week
- Update Series Templates:
Maintain and update templates for recurring series as needed. - Storytelling Carousels:
Ideate and design carousels for go-to-market (GTM) features, approximately 1-3 features per month. - Content Production:
Occasionally support the development of original content and assets for @design on client and Threads, aligning to Instagram brand guidelines.
- Internal Events Deck Design.
- Design and update presentation decks for roughly 3-4 key internal events.
- Project Management:
Support a “slow dribble” of deck updates as content is finalized, ensuring all assets are ready ahead of set dates. Establish and maintain visual identity for decks, manage look and feel approvals, and coordinate with leaders for slide uploads. - Swag Requests:
Design internal and event-specific client swag as needed.
- 3+ years of experience in a creative role, with an emphasis on brand and social media design.
- Strong experience designing for and managing social media accounts, especially client.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects) and Figma experience is preferred.
- Experience running projects with multiple stakeholders and collaborating with both internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong grasp of visual storytelling, trend spotting, and translating trends into engaging content.
- Experience designing assets and writing copy for social media.
- Familiarity with client’s brand and visual language.
- Experience working within a creative department focused on visual storytelling.
- Experience creating content for an international audience.
- Art and design world experience and/or knowledge.
