The NFL is hiring a Manager, Broadcasting to work closely with the Broadcasting Director. The Broadcasting Manager will lead a variety of cross-organizational work streams to enhance the live game viewing experience for fans, protect and grow internal business interests and revenue streams, and ensure the integrity of NFL media rights.
Responsibilities- Oversee the Broadcast Compliance Screening program . Track and address issues of non-compliance across advertising, sponsorship, network promotion, and more to uphold the integrity of NFL media rights
- Liaise between NFL Sponsorship and broadcast partners to ensure seamless on-air execution of NFL-retained sponsorship assets (e.g., presenting sponsor ships, Enhancements , etc.)
- Work with
NFL Marketing andbroadcast partners to manage/optimize institutional promo inventory,deliverincremental game promotion, and integrate promotion of key League initiatives and positiveplayerstoriesacrossbroadcasts - Collaborate with Consumer Insights to develop research modules that inform policies and best practices for commercial formats, advertising, production elements, and coverage of League initiatives
- Support Director inidentifyingand evaluating new opportunities togrow Media Distribution revenue streams (e.g., SB rev share units, virtual signage, co-promotion licensing, etc.)
- Support Director in developing recommendations and materials for business planning meetings and submissions
- Supporta series of summer seminars to preparenetwork partnersfortheircoverage of the upcoming NFL season
- Additionaldepartmental responsibilities as appropriate
- Minimum 5 years’ experience inthe sports media industry with deep knowledge ofthe media rights landscape
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Committed team player with a can-do attitude and willingness to take on any tasksrequiredin the moment
- Ability to implement and meet deadlines and manage projects towards those deadlines
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure, live-event environment
- Ability to collaborate with all personalities at all levels of the organization and with external vendors and partners
