Job Purpose:Provide support to the Corporate Communications team with efforts across all areas of communication, including press, social media, owned media, and internal communications.
What You’ll Do:- Assist in maintaining the SMP website with the latest roster information, company news, etc.
- Assist with drafting and proof-reading corporate communications material (press releases, social media posts, power list submissions, internal presentations, boiler plates, scripts, talking points, internal memos, etc.)
- Update and maintain Corp Comms calendars (industry/awards calendar, social media calendar, press calendar).
- Manage scheduling of social posts, when necessary and/or applicable.
- Conduct daily social media monitoring and keep track of highest performing social posts each week.
- Conduct daily press monitoring and help compile daily press coverage summaries.
- Assist in maintaining and updating media contact lists.
- Perform content research for social platforms, specifically Instagram and Tik Tok.
- Conduct research on industry awards, upcoming events, speaking engagements, etc.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university
- Passionate about the music and entertainment business, and have a desire to build a career in the industry
- Able to adapt quickly to a changing environment with minimal disruption
- An excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members, external partners, and senior management
- You are hungry to learn and grow. You are curious, ask questions and get excited about new projects
- A highly organized person that pays close attention to the details
- Proven Excel experience
- Sound, professional presence over the phone and during times of stress
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience using CRM a plus

The anticipated base hourly for this position is $18. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
