AI Artist & Community Builder (Internship)

Location: New York, Manhattan (On-site)

Compensation: $2,000 / month

Duration: 6 Months (potential for full-time role)

We are looking for a Creative Technologist who lives in the future. You are the person who doesn’t just use creative tools, you break them, remix them, and push them to their absolute limit.

At Chat Labs
, we are building the next generation of creative workflows. We need you to help us build a community of AI Artists, people who are redefining what it means to be a creator.

You won't be fetching coffee. You will be reporting directly to the Founder, experimenting with the newest tools (Figma, Nano Banana, Veo, Runway, Kling, etc), and defining the culture of our new artist community.

• Build the Tribe: You will be the architect of our new community for AI Artists. You’ll find them, engage them, and create a space where they can learn, share, and collaborate.
• Be the Super-User: You will spend a significant part of your week learning and using the absolute latest creative tools. If a new model drops, you should be the first to know how to use it.
• Create & Showcase: You will use these tools to create stunning visual assets, tutorials, and "proof of concepts" that show our community what is possible.
• Bridge the Gap: Translate complex technical capabilities into exciting creative workflows that artists can actually use.

• A Visual Thinker: You have a Portfolio
  . We need to see what you’ve made. Whether it’s graphic design, motion, or pure AI generation, you have an eye for composition, color, and storytelling.
• The "Tinker" Mindset: You are deeply curious. You don't wait for a manual; you learn by doing. You’re likely already in Discord servers swapping prompts and workflows.
• Hyper-Organized: You can handle the chaos of a startup. You know how to manage a content calendar, track community metrics, and keep projects moving without being chased.
• Socially Sharp: You can talk to developers and artists alike. You know how to nurture a community conversation without it feeling "corporate."

You should be excited to work with (and constantly learn) tools like:

• Core Design: Figma.
• Generative Video & Motion: Veo, Runway, Kling.
• Emerging Creative Tools: Nano Banana, and whatever launches next week.
• Strategy & Scripting: LLMs (Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT).

• High Visibility: Work directly with the Founder. Your ideas will be heard and implemented.
• Real Impact: You aren't maintaining a legacy community; you are building one from scratch.
• Future-Proof Your Career: This is a crash course in the most important skill set of the next decade: AI Creative Strategy.
• The Path Forward: We are looking for long-term talent. Crush this internship, and there is a real path to a full-time position.
