Costume Design Assistant

Piper Theatre Productions is seeking a Costume Design Assistant to work with designer Nene Withers on our summer youth productions of The Prom, Alice by Heart, Celtic Tales, and The Wizard of Oz
.

This position runs June 29 – July 20, 2026 and will support the costume design process from build through performance.

• Assisting with costume construction and alterations
• Organizing costume pieces and wardrobe areas
• Supporting fittings with student actors (ages 11–16)
• Assisting the designer during rehearsals and tech as needed

• Sewing and basic costume construction experience required
• Strong organizational skills
• Previous experience working with young performers preferred
• Patience, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit
