Social Media Assistant – 11 to Midnight

Off-Broadway Production | New York, NY

The Off-Broadway dance theatre production 11 to Midnight, co-created by viral dance duo Cost n’ Mayor and Hideaway Circus, is seeking a part-time Social Media Assistant to help create and manage digital content for the show’s social platforms.

This role will work closely with the show’s creators and marketing team to capture the energy of the production and bring it to audiences online. The ideal candidate has strong visual instincts, experience creating short-form video and photo content, and a clear understanding of social media culture and trends.

Responsibilities include:

• Capturing photo and video content during rehearsals, performances, backstage moments, and special events
• Editing short-form videos and social media content for platforms such as Instagram, Tik Tok, and You Tube Shorts
• Assisting with posting content and maintaining a consistent presence across the show’s social channels
• Collaborating with the creative and marketing teams to develop content ideas that highlight the cast, choreography, and behind-the-scenes moments
• Helping document the ongoing life of the show as it continues its Off-Broadway run

Qualifications:

• Strong eye for composition, storytelling, and visual aesthetics
• Experience creating engaging social media content, particularly short-form video
• Familiarity with Instagram, Tik Tok, and other current social platforms
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a creative team
• Must have access to their own camera and/or video equipment suitable for social media capture
• Experience with editing tools such as Premiere, Final Cut, Cap Cut, or similar is a plus

Details:

• Approx. 20 hours per week
• Flexible schedule with some evening and weekend availability required
• Based in New York City (in-person work at the Orpheum Theatre and related events)

11 to Midnight is a high-energy dance theatre experience set during a New Year’s Eve party between 11 PM and midnight. The show features a cast of dynamic dancers and creators Cost n’ Mayor, who reach more than 10 million followers across social media.
