Jacob & Co. is seeking an exceptional Lead
Jewelry Designer to lead and elevate the creative direction of our jewelry division at a pivotal moment in the brand’s history. As we bring renewed focus back to jewelry and significantly expand this division, we are looking for a visionary leader who is willing to take creative risks, push boundaries, and redefine what jewelry can look like.

Partnering directly with Founder and Chairman Jacob Arabo
, the Jewelry Designer will drive new collection development, expand existing lines, and oversee the end‑to‑end design process with uncompromising standards of excellence, creativity, and commercial relevance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner closely with Jacob Arabo to evolve and execute the creative vision for all jewelry collections.
  • Lead the design direction across fine jewelry, high jewelry, and one‑of‑a‑kind pieces, ensuring consistency with Jacob & Co.’s brand DNA.
  • Introduce new jewelry collections and strategically expand existing ones, balancing innovation with brand continuity.
  • Set and uphold the highest standards of design excellence, originality, and craftsmanship.
Design & Development Oversight
  • Oversee the full jewelry design lifecycle from concept ideation, sketching, and CAD direction through final design approval.
  • Translate artistic inspiration, mood boards, cultural references, and trend insights into commercially viable, production‑ready designs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of collections while maintaining design integrity and attention to detail.
  • Review and approve designs, prototypes, and final samples prior to production.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate closely with Product Development, Merchandising, and Marketing teams to align creative vision with business strategy, production feasibility, and brand storytelling.
  • Partner with manufacturing and sourcing teams to ensure materials, techniques, and timelines meet design intent and quality standards.
  • Support cross‑functional initiatives including special projects, strategic collaborations, and limited or bespoke creations.
Special Projects & Bespoke Design
  • Lead or support one‑of‑a‑kind and high‑profile designs for editorial moments, celebrity clients, and brand collaborations.
  • Contribute creatively to unique commissions that push boundaries and reinforce Jacob & Co.’s leadership in high jewelry.
  • Foster an inspiring, collaborative, and detail‑driven creative environment.
  • Provide clear creative direction, constructive feedback, and professional development opportunities for team members.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 8-12 years of experience in jewelry design, with a strong focus on fine and/or high jewelry.
  • Deep familiarity with the full jewelry development process from sketch to sample to production.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a creative team while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of materials, gemstones, setting techniques, and manufacturing constraints.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly to cross‑functional partners and executive leadership.
  • Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to balance artistic vision with commercial awareness.
