The Zoe Report is looking for a dynamic and motivated Senior Fashion Editor to shape and lead fashion coverage and ideate brand initiatives, seasonal tent poles, weekly lineups, and annual packages.
The ideal candidate will be deeply attuned to fashion, entertainment, current affairs, and culture through a well‑established network of industry contacts, always seeking first‑hand information—from viral Tik Tok trends, emerging designers, to high‑profile collaborations.
Key responsibilities include leading fashion coverage—ideating, assigning, and editing features, news, and celebrity content—while nurturing relationships with fashion brands and company clients. Focus areas:
- Develop innovative shopping initiatives as TZR’s platform.
- Represent TZR at shows, parties, previews, and industry events.
- Collaborate with the editorial director and social editor to advance fashion coverage on social media, emphasizing creator collaboration and innovative formats.
- Work with the sales team to brainstorm new initiatives, packages, and client‑focused market displays.
- Maintain uncompromising quality standards and a consistent voice for The Zoe Report.
- Multi‑task across short‑ and long‑term projects and direct internal operations.
- Strategize and manage the fashion editorial calendar.
- Assign, edit, and manage two part‑time writers.
- Contribute to fashion features and occasional news stories.
- Pitch and execute tent‑pole ideas, packages, issues, and franchises.
- Help ideate and create social‑first fashion content.
- Act as liaison between sales, sellers, key clients, and brands.
- Attend industry events and meet emerging and established fashion brands.
- At least four years of relevant experience at a digital media brand.
- Established relationships with major luxury fashion brands and retailers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Rapid ideation and adaptive response to change.
- Collaborative spirit and willingness to mentor junior staff and writers.
