Mada Luxe takes major stake in Ippolita jewelry brand!

Founded in 1999 by artist and designer Ippolita Rostagno, IPPOLITA is a fine jewelry brand created by a woman for women. Known for its sculptural forms, organic silhouettes, and modern femininity, the brand has redefined luxury jewelry through an artful balance of beauty, wearability, and craftsmanship. Each piece reflects Ippolita’s belief that jewelry should be both expressive and empowering - an everyday celebration of individuality.

Mada Luxe is seeking an experienced and creative Senior Jewelry Designer to support the IPPOLITA design vision and creation in New York City. This role is central to ensuring designs are aligned with the creative direction of the brand, working closely with the Creative Director,the Senior Jewelry Designer will translate the artistic vision of Ippolita Rostagno into reality. The ideal candidate is versed in hand sketching, with a refined aesthetic sensibility, deep knowledge of fine jewelry design and production, and proven experience working in a collaborative commercial jewelry design environment.

This position is fully on-site at our NYC studio to foster close collaboration with the creative, merchandising, and product development teams.

• Manage the design calendar in collaboration with the Creative Director and Product Development team to ensure timely execution of seasonal product.
• Partner with Ippolita and the Creative Director throughout the design process - from concept ideation and sketching through final design approval, ensuring timely delivery of seasonal and capsule collections.
• Create seasonal color and trend mood boards keeping in mind how these relate to IPPLOITA’s vocabulary.
• Collaborate closely with Product Development, Merchandising, and Marketing to align design intent with business strategy, production feasibility, and storytelling.
• Ensure that materials, craftsmanship, and detailing uphold IPPOLITA’s standards of quality and luxury.
• Stay informed of design trends, cultural movements, and consumer insights that can inspire innovation within the brand.
• Support cross-functional initiatives including special projects, collaborations, and one-of-a-kind designs for editorial and celebrity clients.

• 8+ years of professional experience in fine or luxury jewelry design, with at least 5 years working within a design team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience.)
• Exceptional creative vision and strong understanding of form, proportion, and materials, especially in precious metals and gemstones.
• Deep familiarity with the jewelry development process - from sketch to sample to production.
• Proven ability to collaborate within a creative team
• Strong communication skills and the ability to present ideas effectively to cross-functional partners and executive leadership.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating a clear creative vision and excellent execution of concepts
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance artistry with commercial awareness.
