Salary: $80K - $100K/yearly (based on experience)

MARLI New York is seeking a highly organized Digital Graphic Designer to join our team supporting our Creative Department and cross-functional teams. The position will craft sophisticated brand communications for global digital platforms and owned and paid channels, and requires exemplary design, typography, and motion skills with acute attention to detail.
Responsibilities- Translate creative concepts with elevated design for digital platforms including but not limited to social media, email marketing, ecomm, boutique and OOH video content, and CRM communications.
- Partner with Art Director to ensure that designs align with creative direction and meet business objectives, and develop and implement innovative digitally native content that is brand-aligned while informed by current market trends that successfully engage our audience.
- Design and manage multiple projects concurrently, ensure that milestones are met, and assets are delivered on time.
- Accurately prepare assets and deliver files for deployment.
- Partner with regional marketing teams, agencies and external partners to ensure that creative is developed to the correct specifications.
- Partner with internal and external cross functional teams—marketing, merchandising, operations, agencies, post-production—to ensure that projects remain on track and meet brand standards.
- Communicate and present to senior management, internal and external partners layouts and creative concepts.
- Develop design templates and libraries to improve design workflow efficiency.
- Assist in the development and organization of the creative assets library.
- Creative research and development staying on the pulse of trends in luxury retail space, design, and culture.
- 4 to 8 years experience as a graphic designer with a strong emphasis on digital design, preferably in luxury or fashion retail space as part of an in-house creative team or agency
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite especially After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Proficiency in Figma
- Exceptional graphic design and typography skills, adept at seamlessly integrating form, color, composition, and imagery into work demonstrated with a strong portfolio of digital projects
- Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertising, social media and multimedia design
- Comfortable handling light photo and video editing
- Motion graphics/animation skills a strong plus
- Effective time management skills with the ability to work with autonomy and meet deadlines
- Curious eye who incorporates passion about art, design, typography, photography and fashion into design
- Proactive self-starter and process-oriented thinker who anticipates and thinks through project challenges
- Enthusiastic and effective collaborator with a strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills, adept at both giving and receiving constructive criticism
