We’re looking for a passionate and strategic Social Media Manager to lead the day‑to‑day social presence of Hip‑Hop Nation, one of Sirius

XM’s most influential music platforms. The Social Media Manager will translate the energy of the music and artist community into compelling social content that fans love and will grow the channel’s reach, deepen fan connection and make sure Sirius

XM content is part of the conversation on every platform, every day.

• Own daily content creation, publishing and community management for Hip‑Hop Nation’s social channels.
• Build and maintain a social content calendar aligned with music releases, artist moments, events and Sirius
  
  XM programming.
• Develop creative assets—photo, video, memes, reels and short‑form content—that resonate with fans and reflect Hip‑Hop Nation’s tone.
• Monitor social trends and platform features to keep Hip‑Hop Nation’s content fresh, timely and culturally relevant.
• Partner closely with programming, on‑air talent, artists and marketing teams to amplify key moments and campaigns.
• Collaborate with Sirius
  
  XM brand social handles when relevant; analyze content performance and audience insights to optimize strategy and share regular reporting with stakeholders.
• Stay on top of news, emerging artists and fan conversations to keep content in tune with the community.

• 3–5 years of experience managing social media accounts for a brand, media company or entertainment property.
• Proficient in full‑scope content creation for social—producing and capturing content via iPhone/Android, editing video and photo, writing captions, tagging, collabing, publishing to social platforms.
• Deep knowledge and genuine passion for Hip‑Hop music—from legacy artists to emerging acts.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, best practices and native content formats.
• Proven ability to create engaging content, including short‑form video, social copy and trend‑reactive moments.
• A highly analytical mindset with experience using social tools to report on performance and shape strategy.
• Excellent writing skills and a strong sense of voice, tone and audience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, juggle multiple priorities and work cross‑functionally.
• Comfortable being on‑site at events, in‑studio with talent or capturing behind‑the‑scenes content as needed.
• Experience with tools like Sprout or native platform analytics is a plus.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.

The annual salary for this position is between $67,000 and $85,000, dependent on skills, qualifications and experience.
