Publicity Strategist, Content & Alternative Media

This position will support and work closely with Pitch Perfect PR’s national & tour publicists in responsibilities including:

• initiate and build relationships with content creators, producers, and writers
• work with artists, labels and managers to strategize an intentional & creative approach in pitching each specific client
• strategize and pitch creators and producers on Pitch Perfect artists
• work with artists and their teams to coordinate press activities
• attend shoots & interviews with artists
• research and maintain publicity contacts across all media
• create and send internal weekly contact updates

• three years of experience in new media, publicity, or related fields
• strong knowledge of social media platforms like Tik Tok, Instagram, X, Youtube, and others
• Innovative and creative thinking and pitching
• exceptional organizational and communication skills
• extremely detail-oriented
• able to multitask, stay on top of deadlines and prioritize with appropriate sense of urgency
• handle stressful situations in a calm, professional manner and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• willingness to be regularly on the go & available for in person press activities
• handle confidential matters appropriately and with discretion
• adaptability and strong instincts in nuanced situations are encouraged
• team player
• passionate about music and overall excitement about our various projects

Will be required to use applications such as Filemaker Pro, Google Suite, Mac, Canva, Mailchimp and Hightail.
