JOB DESCRIPTION
A working visual artist in New York City is seeking a part-time studio outreach assistant to support outreach, applications, and follow-through. This is an in-person role in the artist’s studio focused on research, outreach, and organization.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Build and maintain lists of collectors, curators, galleries, and writers
- Draft and send outreach emails and social messages
- Track responses and manage follow-ups
- Assist with applications for juried shows and exhibitions
- Organize materials and submission records
- Experience in a gallery, museum, arts nonprofit, or arts org preferred
- Strong written communication
- Organized, steady, and patient
- Comfortable working with artists in a studio
