Bloomberg Media is looking for an individual with proactive attitude who is focused, flexible, and proficient in several aspects of broadcast operations, and who can work collaboratively in a live control room and studio environment in a jib camera operator capacity. They will be required to work with operations, on‑air talent, engineering, and editorial teams, as well as their global counterparts to ensure a high‑quality visual production on a part‑time basis.

• Participate in pre‑show meetings with editorial and technical teams to align show vision.
• Move quickly and accurately under pressure in a fast‑paced broadcast environment.
• Collaborate with the technical team and editorial personnel to ensure a quality visual presentation to our audience.
• Read, follow, and execute all relevant tasks outlined in a live news broadcast rundown.
• Operate and frame a 9‑ft Jib Triangle Pro camera in a studio space for a 3‑hour production.
• Communicate with Team Leads to report on issues and faults that will impact global counterparts.
• Assist in the lifting of set pieces up to 50 lbs.

• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of experience working in a live TV environment.
• Experience with multi-camera robotic systems in a fast‑paced live show environment.
• Experience operating a 9‑ft jib underslung in a studio space.
• Experience with Sony HDC Cameras.
• Ability to follow a live rundown (knowledge of ENPS preferred but not required) and adapt to adjustments in real time.
• Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends.
• Strong organizational and communication skills & attention to detail.
