ABOUTTHE ROLE
The Social Media Manager will serve as the client service lead, ensuring our clients’ social media strategies are executed flawlessly. This role is perfect for someone self-motivated, detail-oriented, creative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll lead content creation, calendar planning, and client communications while mentoring junior team members. Working in the luxury industry requires an exceptional eye for detail to maintain the highest standards across all deliverables.
While normal office hours are 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, occasional after-hours work may be required to accommodate client events or deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring emails and queries are addressed promptly.
- Attend client meetings (virtual and in-person) and events, capturing high-quality content for next-day posting.
- Draft onboarding and strategy documents for new clients, ensuring alignment with their branding and tone of voice.
- Regularly visit client properties to maintain a deep understanding of their brand and needs.
- Content Creation & Management: Write polished, on-brand copy across both lifestyle and corporate communications—supporting Linked In thought leadership, announcements, press moments, partnerships, awards, and milestone messaging.
- Create, source, review, and manage detailed social media calendars and content for multiple client channels—including but not limited to Linked In, X, Instagram, Facebook, and Tik Tok—ensuring alignment with each client’s unique voice and goals.
- Develop social media calendars 4–6 weeks in advance, ensuring posts are free of typos, factually accurate, and include proper geolocation tags, credits, and hashtags.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail to meet the luxury industry’s high standards for quality and precision.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, adjusting strategies to leverage new opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Collaborate with the accounts team to update and optimize social media ads.
- Mentor and train junior team members, such as coordinators and interns, reinforcing best practices for project management tools and processes.
- Provide feedback on performance and collaborate with ADs and senior managers on hiring processes.
- Maintain internal documents, such as brand bibles, engagement reports, and password databases, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Analytics & Reporting: Draft and present engagement and strategy documents for senior team review.
- Track key metrics, including follower growth, engagement, and campaign performance.
- 3–4 years of Social Media/PR experience in an agency environment or within the luxury or corporate sectors, with a strong preference for experience in luxury real estate.
- Strong corporate writing skills, with comfort drafting executive-facing Linked In content and professional brand communications.
- Exceptional writing, creative thinking, organizational, and multitasking skills, with extreme attention to detail that is essential for delivering at the standards the luxury industry demands.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Apple iWork, Google Workspace, and tools such as Asana, Dropbox, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Hey Orca.
- Ability to capture high-quality content and post-produce engaging videos for social media platforms.
- Diligent work ethic, an eye for art/design, and an insatiable desire to learn and excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with NYC neighborhoods and cultural landmarks.
- Flexible with attending clients’ events, often on short notice, and committed to coming into the office at least once a week.
