We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Product Designer to support our mission.
This role is based in New York or San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in‑office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.
About the TeamWe're hiring a Product Designer to join Creator Success
, shaping the core experiences that help creators build sustainable businesses and engaged communities on Patreon. You'll design tools and touchpoints that help creators publish their work, attract and retain fans, and present their creative offerings in compelling ways. Your work will span how creators showcase their content, onboard to the platform, and grow their audiences, ensuring both free and paid experiences feel polished and purposeful.
You’ll tackle high‑impact problems across the creator journey. You'll design publishing workflows for podcasters, video creators, and newsletter writers. You'll shape how creators present their work to potential fans. And you'll build systems that help creators understand what to do next to succeed. This is a collaborative role where you'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Research to bring clarity to ambiguous opportunities and ship experiences that directly influence how hundreds of thousands of creators grow their businesses on Patreon.
Aboutthe Role
- Proactively discover company-level opportunities and help bring clarity and insight through high‑fidelity prototypes and expert storytelling
- Work closely with Research, Product and Engineering to identify, plan, scope and execute end‑to‑end design solutions
- Work across the entire design organization to develop innovative patterns and systems that are durable, repeatable and achieve a high standard for craft
- Create, collaborate, and iterate on prototypes, high‑fidelity visuals, and key flows
- Contribute to the visioning, sequencing, tactics, and execution of a multi‑phased overhaul of the product
- Own, redefine, and ship key parts of the core Patreon product
- 7+ years of crafting end-to-end product design experiences
- Portfolio with demonstrated evidence of shipping world‑class customer experiences that have made a significant impact on business metrics
- Deep organization and execution skills, especially in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in design thinking methodologies to lead teams toward user‑centered outcomes
