Overview
Our client, a women's sportswear apparel brand, is seeking a 2D CAD Designer to join their team in New York City! This is a hands-on, production-oriented position focused on technical execution.
Responsibilities- Create clean, accurate CAD flats for women’s sportswear and lifestyle categories, including tops, bottoms, dresses, and sets
- Execute revisions quickly and efficiently based on design and merchant feedback
- Prepare production-ready, tech-focused CADs for overseas factories
- Organize and maintain CAD files, seasonal folders, and asset libraries
- Support the design team with updates, recolors, and line sheet assets
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
- Strong understanding of women’s apparel construction, fit, and proportions
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under tight deadlines
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and receptive to feedback
- Experience in sportswear, active wear, or juniors categories is a plus
- Familiarity with tech packs and factory communication is a plus
Full time in office, 5 days on site.
$50k-70k commensurate of experience.
