About the Role

We’re hiring a Junior Design Assistant to support our design team. This is a hands-on role that blends creativity with execution—you’ll support both The Tailory New York and Shao across fittings, sample development, vendor coordination, and, generating product imagery using AI tools.

What You’ll Do

• Assist the designer in sample tracking, fittings, and collection development
• Organize fabrics, trims, sketches, and tech packs for both brands
• Coordinate communication with vendors, production partners, and pattern makers
• Generate and edit AI-based imagery for products and campaigns (using provided prompts and guidelines)
• Update and maintain product listings, collections, and visuals on Shopify

Who You Are

• 1+ year of experience in fashion or design support
• Must be comfortable in one-on-one design appointments, focusing on custom design
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent) preferred
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment
