Pay or shift range: $35 USD to $38 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.

Overview:
The Part Time Photographer/Videographer will support Housing Works businesses, advocacy, fundraising, and services through regularly scheduled shoots, basic editing, and archiving of photography and video. This position is part time (20 hours/week) with some nights and weekends required. Requires a highly motivated and organized individual with strong communication skills. Creativity, collaboration adaptability, and attunement to client preferences and media trends are crucial to this role.
Responsibilities:
- Editorial photoshoots to support Housing Works social enterprise retail (including Thrift Shops, Bookstore, and Cannabis Dispensaries)
- Documentary photography and video to support Housing Works advocacy
- Staff headshot updates as needed
- Event photography and video
- Video editing for social media, advertising, and archival purposes
- Works with department leads on shot lists and scheduling
- Adheres to Housing Works brand guidelines
Secondary:
- Ensure all files are labeled and archived appropriately
- Participate in meetings and special events as applicable
- Strict adherence to deadlines as dictated by the promotional calendar and as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Experience in any/all of the following: product photography, fashion editorial, interiors
- Experience with editing video for press kits and social media
- Experience with prop styling a plus
- Fluency in photo and video editing software
- Knowledge of social media platforms Knowledge of and interest in HIV/AIDS and related social justice issues.
- The ability to manage one’s own projects along with managing the team’s work flow in a fast-paced environment
