Role Overview
The Creative Director will be responsible for shaping and evolving the brand’s creative vision, ensuring consistency, originality, and excellence across all consumer touch-points. This role requires a blend of hands-on creative leadership, strategic brand thinking, and deep expertise in building high-impact visuals in the beauty or fashion space. You will lead and mentor an internal team while also managing external creative partners, ensuring the brand’s voice and visual identity remain elevated, current, and culturally relevant.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the overarching creative direction for the brand across digital, social, e-commerce, retail, packaging, advertising, and global marketing campaigns.
- Lead concept development and execution for high-visibility initiatives including product launches, major campaigns, social storytelling, and brand partnerships.
- Manage and inspire a multidisciplinary team of designers, art directors, copywriters, and content creators.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Development, E-Commerce, and Executive Leadership to ensure creative output aligns with strategic business goals.
- Elevate the brand’s visual identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and maintaining a forward-thinking, premium aesthetic.
- Oversee production of photo and video shoots - selecting photographers, stylists, and creative partners; directing on set; and ensuring world-class outcomes.
- Monitor trends in beauty, culture, digital content, and consumer behavior to drive innovative and relevant creative ideas.
- Manage creative budgets, timelines, and resource planning for internal teams and external agencies.
- Ensure creative content meets the highest standard of quality while supporting rapid growth and fast-paced execution.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of creative experience, with at least 4 years in a senior or director-level role, ideally within beauty, fashion, luxury, or high-growth consumer brands.
- A standout portfolio demonstrating strong visual storytelling, digital expertise, and breakthrough campaign development.
- Proven experience leading and scaling creative teams.
- Deep understanding of social platforms, content evolution, and emerging formats.
- Strong art direction, design sensibility, and photo/video production experience.
- Ability to work hands-on while also driving strategic creative vision.
- An entrepreneurial, collaborative mindset and comfort working in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
