WHAT YOU’LL DO

Bring your eye, style, and amazing skills to our super‑fun, fast‑growing agency! We’re in search of a Creative Strategist to join our team and create exceptional content for our diverse portfolio of top DTC brands. In this role, you will propose testing strategies, provide overall creative direction, develop and optimize concepts, and review scripts and final deliverables in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

This is a strategic thinker role that requires strong presentation skills, collaborative engagement across multiple teams, and an ability to navigate and integrate creative insights across digital and social channels. You’ll have the freedom to explore trends, develop strategies, and evaluate concepts that drive impactful campaigns across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, You Tube, display ads, landing pages, and more.

With a keen eye for detail and a systems‑oriented approach, you’ll shape campaigns that resonate and perform, leveraging your deep understanding of each platform’s unique dynamics.

What you'll be diving into day‑to‑day:

  • Develop performance‑driven creative and messaging strategies and frameworks for clients across digital channels (e.g., FB, IG, Tik Tok, You Tube, Display, etc.).
  • Participate in client meetings as Donut’s in‑house creative expert for assigned accounts.
  • Advise external client teams on media best practices, strategies, and ideas.
  • Manage launch pipeline for assigned clients with your media counterpart, including the completion and transfer of deliverables to clients in a timely manner.
  • Apply full‑funnel thinking to increase click‑through rates and conversion rates on ads and landing pages.
  • Synthesize consumer target’s mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors to inform strong creative development.
  • Partner with media counterparts to review creative performance and formulate strategies based on KPIs and client feedback.
  • Effectively brief and project manage assignments to team members within Asana and Slack.
  • Quality control exports to ensure creative standards are up to client expectations, brand guidelines, and deadlines.
  • Develop processes to ensure cross‑functional collaboration and intra‑marketing team success.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
  • 4+ years of proven experience ideating and developing high‑performing direct response and social media creative strategies, ideally at a creative and performance marketing agency.
  • A background in creating UGC to enhance engagement and reach is a plus.
  • Digitally savvy, creative, and knowledgeable about who and what is trending in the digital space on platforms including You Tube, Instagram/Facebook, Tik Tok, etc.
  • A growth mindset, always thinking about how our clients can develop resonant, insightful advertising and what makes content engaging across audiences.
  • Strong grasp on culture, with a keen understanding of what is relevant and an eye for upcoming digital trends.
  • Excellent performance marketing and creative instincts with a track record of driving new concepts and pioneering new approaches within your company.
  • Strong team player, with a passion for collaboration.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a self‑starting attitude and an ability to persuasively communicate strategic insights to the department and to stakeholders.
