DESIGNER - Young Contemporary Sportswear, and Denim

Exciting opportunity for a talented, and motivated Denim designer to join the team offering a hybrid schedule. Work on expanding young contemporary sportswear/ denim tops and bottoms. Be part of a growing team!
JOB DESCRIPTION:- Design styles and research new fabrics that are new, and aesthetically appropriate for the brands
- Work with the Design Director managing the design process from concept to execution
- Ability to translate design direction from mood boards
- Create tech packs as needed
- Proficiency in sketching illustrations
- Knowledge of denim washes, construction and techniques
- Adhere to the time and action calendar
- Follow through the approval process, insuring they are coordinated among different fabrics, trims and product categories are approved working with production
- Maintain and meet all deadline demands
- Bachelor’s Degree in the Arts
- Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Excel and Simparel is a plus
- CAD experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
