ROLEAssociate Photographers are tasked with collecting media for and Each photographer is assigned a core territory and works with a pre‑scheduled calendar to capture 3‑D virtual tours, floor plans, and high‑quality photographs using Pro 3 Matterport cameras, digital cameras, and iPads. The role involves coordinating with clients, sales associates, logistics, and management, and is managed remotely by a Photography Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Support marketing efforts on and by capturing beautiful 3‑D virtual tours and footprints.
- Create a portfolio of photographs to best feature homes and apartments, utilizing photography techniques to capture the spaces in the most pleasing way possible.
- Work closely with scheduling and dispatch teams to maximize appointments and meet client demands.
- Professionally communicate with clients, sales, researcher partners, and management to strategically evaluate priorities, initiatives, and tasks.
- Own the market! While not working on a residential home, navigate one‑mile square grids to ensure complete commercial real‑estate data coverage.
- Identify new inventory, missing availability, and commercial properties to be photographed.
- Abide by CoStar safety standards to safeguard company vehicle and equipment.
- Represent CoStar in a professional manner at all times.
- Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed.
- At least 2 years of professional experience.
- Real Estate Photography experience required.
- Experience working as a professional photographer, or a recently earned degree in photography.
- Be an experienced Drone Photographer with an FAA Part 107 License/Certification obtained within 30 days of offer.
- Strong time‑management skills and highly detail‑oriented.
- Capability to accurately capture and enter data.
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of Windows, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications.
- Enjoys working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Field experience preferred.
- Candidates must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
- Satisfactory completion of a Driving Record/Driving Abstract check prior to start.
- Driving history must reflect responsible driving behavior and compliance with traffic laws.
Repetitive and frequent sitting in a car, standing and walking for up to 8 hours per day; must lift, carry, and maneuver equipment weighing up to 5 pounds; repetitive hand and arm movements are needed to type on a tablet or laptop and operate camera equipment; occasional bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, twisting, and carrying; ability to work and drive outside during all seasons;
and the ability to work weekends on a rotating schedule.
The Associate Photographer position is hourly plus bonus‑eligible. Bonuses are paid monthly and based on performance against pre‑determined metrics. The hourly wage is equivalent to an annual salary of $54 k–$55 k, depending on relevant skills and experience, and includes a generous benefits and bonus plan.
