We are seeking a Temporary Assistant to support our Fabric Associate in New York by organizing our comprehensive Fabric Library. You will work closely with our team to categorize materials and purge outdated inventory ensuring the library is functional. This position is temporary and needed for 2-3 weeks.
Responsibilities- Sort and organize fabric headers based on specific criteria including material content, mill/supplier, and fabric type.
- Audit the current collection to identify and remove outdated or discontinued headers to make room for incoming seasonal materials.
- Re-label, shelf, and arrange headers to create a logical, easy-to-navigate system for the design team.
- Maintain a clean and professional workspace, ensuring all samples are properly filed after use.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in an office, retail, or showroom environment; experience with textiles or fashion is a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to sorting large volumes of physical inventory.
- Ability to take direction well and work collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.
- The salary range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hour.
