Associate Designer - Juniors Apparel

Our client, a Juniors + women's manufacturing brand, is looking for a strong and creative Associate Designer to join their growing team.

$60,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

• Review and collaborate closely with the Senior Designer & Design Director.
• Conceptualize and design into current trends as they relate to the Junior brand.
• Sample shopping & returns, in person and online, from European and domestic markets for emerging trends and inspiration.
• Merchandise and present print, color, silhouette, fabrication, trends ideas, and inspiration for coming seasons.
• Organize original sample & proto-sample chart along with showroom.
• Review and comment on proto sample layout & lab dips.
• Create tech packs along with proto spec, and detail pages, maintain proto sample, and follow up to BOM.
• Actively participate in fittings with technical design and production to ensure proper fit.
• Create initial CAD sketches to present to sales and buyers.

• 3+ years of experience required.
• Computer proficiency – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Illustrator, and Outlook.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and be a strong team player.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced fashion environment & prioritize multiple projects.
• Knowledge of Cut & Sew Knits, Sweaters, or Woven fabrication.

Salary: $65, (commensurate with experience)
