Lead High-End Remodels in Occupied NYC Homes
Dancoby Construction is seeking a Residential Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on high-end residential remodeling projects. This role requires hands‑on residential experience. If your background is primarily commercial construction, this is not the right fit.
What You'll Do Field Leadership- Manage subcontractors and daily jobsite operations
- Maintain project schedule and sequencing
- Coordinate inspections and ensure code compliance
- Monitor quality standards at every stage
- Serve as an on-site representative with homeowners
- Maintain dust containment and finish protection
- Communicate daily progress and next steps
- Document daily progress in Job Tread
- Track trade hours and scope changes
- Identify risks early and escalate appropriately
- 2-3+ years residential remodeling experience
- Experience managing trades in occupied homes
- Strong understanding of sequencing (kitchens/baths/additions preferred)
- Finish carpentry or multi-trade knowledge valued
- OSHA 10 required
- Valid driver's license
- $35 to $45 hourly
- W-2 full-time employment
- Company vehicle use (role-dependent)
- Advancement toward Project Manager track
